Each of the Wildfire Churches is affiliated with a food shelf or social service agency. We support these organization through monetary donations, volunteerism, food drives, Christmas and birthday gift drives and by bringing our gently used clothing and household items. We honor and support their work in helping people get back on track financially and moving toward a more sustainable future.
We also support our local school districts by connecting with individual schools for tutoring, reading programs and KidPAck. KidPack is a program that provides weekend food for kids to take home with them on Friday. The packs include shelf-stable, easily prepared or ready-to-eat food that even young children can manage for themselves. This is a popular program now serving nearly every elementary school in the Robbinsdale school district and some beyond.
For over 43 years, the volunteers and staff at PRISM have worked with families; counseling, educating and stabilizing basic needs to empower them to take an active role in their own solutions.
